The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Dutchtown Griffins (Geismar, LA) and the visiting Riverside Academy Rebels (Reserve, LA), saw Dutchtown's baseball team gain a win over Riverside Academy by a tally of 18-0.
The Griffins (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against St. Paul's (Covington, LA). The Wolves enter the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, St. Paul's was overwhelmed by Catholic (Baton Rouge, LA), 6-4, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Rebels face the Metairie Park Country Day Cajuns (Metairie, LA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, February 15. Riverside Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Cajuns enter the battle with a 0-3 record after their 17-4 non-league loss to L.W. Higgins (Marrero, LA).
