Augusta Panthers (Augusta, KY) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Holmes Bulldogs (Covington, KY), 72-65 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Augusta upgrades its record to 16-8 on the year. The Panthers host Nicholas County (Carlisle, KY) to face the Bluejackets in a non-league match on Monday, February 17. The Bluejackets enter the match with a record of 17-7. Nicholas County won 64-59 in their recent non-league match against Holmes (Covington, KY)
The Bulldogs now sport a 13-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nicholas County for a non-league match on Saturday, February 15.
