Waubay/Summit Mustangs (Waubay, SD) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Britton-Hecla Braves (Britton, SD), 56-50 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Waubay/Summit advances its record to 11-7 on the year. The Mustangs host Great Plains Lutheran (Watertown, SD) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Thursday, February 20. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 8-9.
The Braves now own a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Waverly/South Shore for a non-league match on Monday, February 17. Britton-Hecla will face a Coyotes squad coming off a 55-34 league win over Warner (Warner, SD). The Coyotes record now stands at 10-6.
