Colorado High School Basketball - Sanford thwarts Center

The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Sanford Mustangs (Sanford, CO) and the visiting Center Vikings (Center, CO), observed Sanford's basketball team knock off Center by a score of 62-47.

The Mustangs (14-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Del Norte (Del Norte, CO). The Tigers come into the 3A/2A Southern Peaks challenge with a 7-8 record. In their last challenge, Del Norte prevailed over Walsenburg (Walsenburg, CO), 55-27, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Vikings encounter the Sierra Grande Panthers (Blanca, CO) in a non-league test, on Saturday, February 15. Center will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 14-3 record after their 64-60 non-league loss to Hoehne (Hoehne, CO).
