The Cherry Hill East Cougars basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Deptford Spartans to 46 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cougars now have a 22-2 record. They play next when they travel to Millville for a non-league game on Thursday, February 27. Cherry Hill East will confront a Thunderbolts team coming off a 60-52 non-league loss to Atlantic City (Atlantic City, NJ). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 6-18.

With the loss, Deptford falls to 11-7 on the campaign. The Spartans host Timber Creek Regional (Erial, NJ) to confront the Chargers in a Tri-County - Liberty game on Saturday, February 15. The Chargers go into the game with a record of 11-7.
