South Dakota High School Basketball - Northwestern Area knocked off by Great Plains Lutheran

In Thursday's non-league test, the Great Plains Lutheran Panthers (Watertown, SD) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Northwestern Area Wildcats (Mellette, SD), by a score of 51-43.

Next, the Panthers encounter the Oldham-Ramona/Rutland Rutland (Ramona, SD) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, February 18. Great Plains Lutheran will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record. The Rutland come into the test with a 3-15 record after their 49-46 non-league loss to Canistota (Canistota, SD).

The Wildcats (5-11) will now prepare for their test against North Central (Eureka, SD). The Thunder come into the non-league test with a 9-10 record. In their last test, North Central beat Tiospaye Topa (Ridgeview, SD), 50-49, in a league test.
