The Pymatuning Valley Lakers basketball team scored 63 points and limited the host Lordstown Red Devils to 30 in the Lakers league triumph on Thursday.

The Lakers now possess a 12-9 record. They play next when they travel to Conneaut for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 18. Pymatuning Valley will play a Spartans team coming off a 55-53 non-league loss to Maplewood (Cortland, OH). The Spartans record now stands at 1-19.

With the loss, Lordstown falls to 3-17 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to St. John (Ashtabula, OH) to play the Fighting Herald in a Northeastern game on Wednesday, February 19. The Fighting Herald go into the game with a record of 12-9. St. John lost 87-35 in their recent non-league game against Crestwood (Mantua, OH)
