With the victory, AHSTW advances its record to 8-13 on the year. The Vikings host West Monona (Onawa, IA) to face the Spartans in a non-league match on Saturday, February 15. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 5-16. West Monona won 61-51 in their recent league match against Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove (Ida Grove, IA)

The Monarchs now own a 3-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glenwood for a Hawkeye Ten challenge on Friday, February 14. Denison-Schleswig will encounter a Rams team coming off a 56-33 non-league loss to Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA). The Rams record now stands at 4-16.
