The Pickford Panthers basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Alanson Vikings to 27 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Panthers now possess a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Brimley for a Eastern Upper Peninsula game on Monday, February 17. Pickford will confront a Bays team coming off a 51-22 non-league win over North Michigan Christian Academy (Burt Lake, MI). The Bays record now stands at 12-7.
With the loss, Alanson falls to 7-10 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Atlanta (Atlanta, MI) to confront the Huskies in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 18. The Huskies go into the game with a record of 2-12.
