In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Brimley Bays basketball team scored a big 51-22 triumph over the North Michigan Christian Academy Comets.
The Bays (12-7) will now prepare for their contest against Pickford (Pickford, MI). The Panthers go into the Eastern Upper Peninsula contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Pickford smashed Alanson (Alanson, MI), 57-27, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Comets battle the Rudyard Bulldogs (Rudyard, MI) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 17. North Michigan Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 12-7 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 7-8 record after their 48-26 league loss to Brimley (Brimley, MI).
