The Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks were victorious over the visiting Valley Central Vikings basketball squad by a final score of 56-45 in Thursday's non-league outing.
Next, the Goldbacks clash with the Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders (Central Valley, NY) in a Section 9 Orange County I outing, on Thursday, February 20. Newburgh Free Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Crusaders enter the outing with a 11-7 record after their 50-38 league loss to Pine Bush (Pine Bush, NY).
