Minnesota High School Ice Hockey - Lakeville South knocks off Champlin Park

In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Lakeville South Cougars ice hockey team scored a close 5-2 victory over the Champlin Park Rebels.
The Cougars (12-10) will now prepare for their contest against Farmington (Farmington, MN). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 7-13 record. In their last contest, Farmington by Rosemount (Rosemount, MN), 7-0, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Rebels play the Orono Spartans (Long Lake, MN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 15. Champlin Park will attempt to better on its 11-8 season record. The Spartans go into the contest with a 11-7 record after their 9-3 non-league win over Jefferson (Bloomington, MN).
