In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Fort Myers Green Wave lacrosse squad scored a tight 6-5 triumph over the Aubrey Rogers Patriots.
The Green Wave (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Cypress Lake (Fort Myers, FL). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Cypress Lake held off The Village School of Naples (Naples, FL), 12-1, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Patriots meet the Estero Wildcats (Estero, FL) in a 1A D12 contest, on Friday, February 14. Aubrey Rogers will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 16-7 non-league loss to Barron Collier (Naples, FL).
