In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Habersham Central Raiders soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Cherokee Bluff Bears.
The Raiders (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Loganville (Loganville, GA). The Red Devils go into the 5A Area 8 outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Loganville was edged by North Oconee (Bogart, GA), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Bears play the Mountain View Bears (Lawrenceville, GA) in a non-league outing, on Friday, February 21. Cherokee Bluff will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
