The Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Dodge County Indians to 0 in the Purple Hurricane non-league victory on Thursday.
The Purple Hurricane now hold a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Jeff Davis for a 1A D-I Area 1 bout on Friday, February 21.
With the loss, Dodge County moves to 0-2 on the year. The Indians travel to West Laurens (Dexter, GA) to encounter the Raiders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 18. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 2-0. West Laurens won 10-1 in their recent league bout against Howard (Macon, GA)
