East Coweta Indians (Sharpsburg, GA) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Troup County Tigers (LaGrange, GA), 5-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, East Coweta advances its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Indians travel to St. Anne-Pacelli (Columbus, GA) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league test on Tuesday, February 25. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Tigers now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Callaway for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 18. Troup County will clash with a Cavaliers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-2.
