The Woodland Wildcats soccer squad scored 10 points and held the visiting Rockmart Yellowjackets to 0 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Thursday.
The Wildcats now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to North Cobb for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 18. Woodland will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 4-4 non-league Pebblebrook (Mableton, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Rockmart moves to 1-2 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe (Fort Oglethorpe, GA) to encounter the Warriors in a 2A Area 7 bout on Friday, February 21. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 1-0.
