Coronado Thunderbirds (El Paso, TX) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host IDEA South Flores Owls (San Antonio, TX), 5-4 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Coronado upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Thunderbirds travel to Luling (Luling, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, February 13. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 0-0.
The Owls now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Pleasanton for a non-league game on Thursday, February 13. IDEA South Flores will play a Eagles squad coming off a 17-13 non-league win over Hondo (Hondo, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.
