The Monroe Vikings (North Hills, CA) baseball the host Westchester Comets (Los Angeles, CA), 3-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Chavez for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 19.

With the defeat, Westchester drops to 0-1 on the year. The Comets travel to Rancho Dominguez (Long Beach, CA) to face the Lobos in a non-league battle on Wednesday, February 18.
