The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Peaster Greyhounds (Peaster, TX) and the visiting Big Spring Steers (Big Spring, TX), observed Peaster's softball team prevail over Big Spring by a tally of 15-5.
The Greyhounds (3-2) will now prepare for their bout against Stephenville (Stephenville, TX). The Yellow Jackets/Honeybees go into the non-league bout with a 3-0 record. In their last bout, Stephenville knocked off Early (Early, TX), 8-3, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Steers battle the Forsan Buffaloes (Forsan, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 16. Big Spring will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Buffaloes enter the contest with a 1-2 record after their 13-0 non-league loss to San Angelo Central (San Angelo, TX).
