In Monday's league outing, the Decatur Lutheran Lions (Decatur, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Argenta-Oreana Bombers (Argenta, IL), by a margin of 84-41.
The Lions (19-6) will now prepare for their outing against Cerro Gordo/Bement (Cerro Gordo, IL). The Broncos go into the Lincoln Prairie outing with a 24-5 record. In their last outing, Cerro Gordo/Bement smashed Lexington (Lexington, IL), 72-54, in a non-league outing.
The Bombers now own a 6-18 record. They play next when they travel to Cumberland for a Lincoln Prairie outing on Tuesday, February 15. Argenta-Oreana will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 48-45 league win over Arcola (Arcola, IL). The Pirates record now stands at 14-13.
