Everett Crimson Tide (Everett, MA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Brockton Boxers (Brockton, MA), 61-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Everett upgrades its record to 16-2 on the season. The Crimson Tide travel to Newton North (Newtonville, MA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Sunday, February 20. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 8-2. Newton North won 57-40 in their recent non-league bout against Milton (Milton, MA)

Next up, the Boxers play the Dartmouth Indians (South Dartmouth, MA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 16. Brockton will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 6-9 record after their 74-59 non-league win over Bishop Connolly (Fall River, MA).
