In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Humphreys County Cowboys (Belzoni, MS) basketball squad beat the visiting Alcorn Central Bears (Glen, MS), by a count of 66-48.
The Cowboys (16-11) will now prepare for their outing against Nettleton (Nettleton, MS). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 24-4 record. In their last outing, Nettleton defeated Holly Springs (Holly Springs, MS), 87-63, in a non-league outing.
The Bears now hold a 10-15 record.
