The Canfield Cardinals basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the visiting Alliance Aviators to 60 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Cardinals now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Poland Seminary for a non-league contest on Friday, February 17. Canfield will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 50-45 non-league loss to Chaney (Youngstown, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-11.

The Aviators (14-7) will now prepare for their contest against Austintown-Fitch (Youngstown, OH). The Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 11-10 record. In their last contest, Austintown-Fitch was nudged by North Royalton (North Royalton, OH), 59-47, in a non-league contest.
