In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Wheeler Eagles basketball team scored a decisive 76-55 triumph over the Ashland Blue Devils.
In their next game, the Eagles meet the Houlka Wildcats (Houlka, MS) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 18. Wheeler will attempt to move on its 14-10 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 23-8 record after their 76-66 non-league win over Smithville (Smithville, MS).
With the defeat, Ashland moves to 3-12 on the year.
