The Assumption Royals basketball team scored 87 points and held the visiting Northland Lutheran Wildcats to 53 in the Royals non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Royals now sport a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Auburndale for a Marawood - South contest on Friday, February 17. Assumption will battle a Apaches team coming off a 50-49 non-league win over Athens (Athens, WI). The Apaches record now stands at 15-4.

The Wildcats (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against White Lake (White Lake, WI). The Lakers enter the Central Wisconsin - North contest with a 5-15 record. In their last contest, White Lake triumphed over Butternut (Butternut, WI), 78-42, in a non-league bout.
