Minnesota High School Basketball - Mayer Lutheran knocked off by Blake

The Blake Bears basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Mayer Lutheran Crusaders to 62 in the Bears non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bears now sport a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Breck for a AA Section 5 contest on Friday, February 17. Blake will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 89-75 league win over Southwest Christian (Chaska, MN). The Mustangs record now stands at 14-6.
The Crusaders (1-20) will now prepare for their match against Le Sueur-Henderson/Minnesota New Country (Le Sueur, MN). The Giants enter the non-league match with a 7-11 record. In their last match, Le Sueur-Henderson/Minnesota New Country overcame New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva (New Richland, MN), 71-52, in a league match.
