Missouri High School Basketball - Brookfield knocked off by Monroe City

The Monroe City Panthers basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Brookfield Bulldogs to 43 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 7-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Macon for a Clarence Cannon contest on Friday, February 17. Monroe City will battle a Tigers team coming off a 68-55 league win over Clark County (Kahoka, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 15-2.
The Bulldogs (2-19) will now prepare for their contest against Penney (Hamilton, MO). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 6-19 record.
