In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Capital Cougars basketball team scored a tight 68-66 triumph over the Greenbrier East Spartans.
In their next game, the Cougars meet the St. Albans Red Dragons (St. Albans, WV) in a Mountain State match, on Tuesday, February 21. Capital will attempt to better on its 7-10 season record. The Red Dragons enter the match with a 11-9 record after their 86-43 non-league loss to Parkersburg South (Parkersburg, WV).
With the defeat, Greenbrier East moves to 9-8 on the year.
