Choctaw County Chargers (Ackerman, MS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Charleston Tigers (Charleston, MS), 69-67 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Choctaw County upgrades its record to 21-9 on the season. The Chargers travel to Coahoma County (Clarksdale, MS) to clash with the Red Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 18. The Red Panthers go into the bout with a record of 26-2. Coahoma County won 60-34 in their recent non-league bout against New Site (New Site, MS)
