The Daviess County Panthers (Owensboro, KY) basketball nipped the host Grayson County Cougars (Leitchfield, KY), 48-47 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Panthers (11-12) will now prepare for their test against Union County (Morganfield, KY). The Braves go into the non-league test with a 6-12 record. In their last test, Union County got by Caldwell County (Princeton, KY), 79-65, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now own a 9-18 record. They play next when they travel to Hancock County for a non-league test on Friday, February 17. Grayson County will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 75-57 non-league loss to Henderson County (Henderson, KY). The Hornets record now stands at 15-11.
