Colorado High School Basketball - Douglas County thwarted by Mountain Vista

The Douglas County Huskies basketball team (Castle Rock, CO), dropped 68-58 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Mountain Vista Golden Eagles (Highlands Ranch, CO)

The Golden Eagles now possess a 20-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to ThunderRidge for a 6A/5A Continental battle on Friday, February 17. Mountain Vista will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 75-65 league loss to Regis Jesuit (Aurora, CO). The Grizzlies record now stands at 13-9.

The Huskies (9-12) will now prepare for their battle against Ponderosa (Parker, CO). The Mustangs come into the 6A/5A Continental battle with a 14-8 record. In their last battle, Ponderosa beat Legend (Parker, CO), 66-39, in a league battle.
