Indiana High School Basketball - Elkhart Christian Academy tops Smith Academy

Elkhart Christian Academy Eagles (Elkhart, IN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Smith Academy Fighting 54th (Fort Wayne, IN), 40-31 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Elkhart Christian Academy upgrades its record to 7-12 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to NorthWood (Nappanee, IN) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 17. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 18-2. NorthWood won 48-39 in their recent non-league bout against Tippecanoe Valley (Akron, IN)
Next up, the Fighting 54th play the South Adams Starfires (Berne, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 18. Smith Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Starfires come into the bout with a 2-17 record after their 64-20 league loss to Adams Central (Monroe, IN).
