Fallsburg Comets (Fallsburg, NY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Rondout Valley Ganders (Accord, NY), 55-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fallsburg upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Comets travel to Chester (Chester, NY) to clash with the Hambletonians in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 16. The Hambletonians go into the bout with a record of 8-8.

Next up, the Ganders clash with the Dover Dragons (Dover Plains, NY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 16. Rondout Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 6-13 record after their 57-50 non-league win over Hawthorne Valley (Ghent, NY).
