With the victory, West Elk upgrades its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Dexter (Dexter, KS) to play the in a non-league bout on Friday, February 17. The come into the bout with a record of 8-2. Dexter won 57-40 in their recent non-league bout against Central (Burden, KS)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Oxford Wildcats (Oxford, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 17. Flinthills will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 11-7 record after their 67-35 non-league win over Udall (Udall, KS).
