Kansas High School Basketball - Golden Plains overwhelmed by Rawlins County

The Golden Plains Bulldogs basketball team (Rexford, KS), was routed 80-28 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Rawlins County Buffaloes (Atwood, KS)

The Buffaloes now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dighton for a Northwest Kansas battle on Friday, February 17. Rawlins County will battle a Hornets team coming off a 48-23 non-league win over Western Plains/Healy (Ransom, KS). The Hornets record now stands at 13-6.

The Bulldogs (2-17) will now prepare for their battle against Northern Valley (Almena, KS). The Huskies come into the non-league battle with a 15-3 record. In their last battle, Northern Valley trounced Cheylin (Bird City, KS), 67-56, in a non-league battle.
