The Hitchcock-Tulare Patriots (Hitchcock, SD) basketball nipped the visiting Ipswich Tigers (Ipswich, SD), 43-36 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Patriots (10-7) will now prepare for their test against Wolsey-Wessington (Wolsey, SD). The Warbirds go into the non-league test with a 14-4 record. In their last test, Wolsey-Wessington was tipped by Warner (Warner, SD), 58-51, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] for a B Region 6 test on Thursday, February 16. Ipswich will encounter a Battlers squad coming off a 86-60 non-league loss to Miller (Miller, SD). The Battlers record now stands at 2-15.
