The Pleasant Plains Cardinals (Pleasant Plains, IL) basketball knocked off the host Illini Central Cougars (Mason City, IL), 44-33 in Tuesday's league test.
The Cardinals (23-6) will now prepare for their test against Athens (Athens, IL). The Warriors go into the Sangamo test with a 18-12 record. In their last test, Athens notched a victory over Olympia (Stanford, IL), 64-33, in a league test.
The Cougars now own a 10-19 record. They play next when they travel to Lewistown for a non-league test on Saturday, February 18.
