The Iola-Scandinavia Thunderbirds (Iola, WI) basketball felled the visiting Rosholt Hornets (Rosholt, WI), 50-31 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Thunderbirds (2-15) will now prepare for their test against Bonduel (Bonduel, WI). The Bears go into the Central Wisconsin - East test with a 14-6 record. In their last test, Bonduel thwarted Coleman (Coleman, WI), 65-44, in a non-league test.
The Hornets now own a 2-19 record. They play next when they travel to Tri-County for a Central Wisconsin - South test on Friday, February 17. Rosholt will encounter a Penguins squad coming off a 91-22 league loss to Port Edwards (Port Edwards, WI). The Penguins record now stands at 2-17.
