The Kewanee Boilermakers basketball team (Kewanee, IL), was nudged 61-58 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Orion Chargers (Orion, IL)
The Chargers now hold a 15-16 record. They play next when they host Erie-Prophetstown for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 18. Orion will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 59-55 non-league loss to Rock Falls (Rock Falls, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 9-17.
Next up, the Boilermakers clash with the Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts (Chillicothe, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 18. Kewanee will attempt to upgrade on its 15-13 season record. The Grey Ghosts go into the bout with a 7-24 record after their 60-40 non-league win over Roanoke-Benson (Roanoke, IL).
