The Western Panthers basketball team (Russiaville, IN), was overwhelmed 66-41 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Kokomo Wildkats (Kokomo, IN)

The Wildkats now possess a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Anderson for a North Central battle on Friday, February 17. Kokomo will confront a Indians team coming off a 59-44 league win over Muncie Central (Muncie, IN). The Indians record now stands at 18-3.

The Panthers (11-9) will now prepare for their battle against West Lafayette (West Lafayette, IN). The Red Devils come into the Hoosier - West battle with a 11-9 record. In their last battle, West Lafayette trounced Western Boone (Thorntown, IN), 61-45, in a non-league battle.
