Lawrence County Cougars (Monticello, MS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Northeast Jones Tigers (Laurel, MS), 71-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lawrence County upgrades its record to 18-9 on the season. The Cougars travel to Raymond (Raymond, MS) to clash with the Rangers in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 18. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 24-6. Raymond won 79-32 in their recent non-league bout against Greene County (Leakesville, MS)
