The Lincoln Railsplitters basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting MacArthur Generals to 40 in the Railsplitters non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Railsplitters now sport a 24-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mahomet-Seymour for a Apollo match on Thursday, February 16. Lincoln will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 69-49 non-league loss to Richwoods (Peoria, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-15.

With the defeat, MacArthur moves to 25-4 on the year. The Generals host Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, IL) to face the Braves in a non-league match on Wednesday, February 15. The Braves enter the match with a record of 26-3. Mt. Zion lost 63-56 in their recent non-league match against Decatur Eisenhower (Decatur, IL)
