Shelbyville Rams (Shelbyville, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers (Mt. Pulaski, IL), 68-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Shelbyville upgrades its record to 17-13 on the season. The Rams host Meridian (Macon, IL) to clash with the Hawks in a Central Illinois bout on Thursday, February 16. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 8-20. Meridian won 51-49 in their recent non-league bout against Heyworth (Heyworth, IL)

Next up, the Hilltoppers clash with the Illini Bluffs Tigers (Glasford, IL) in a Tomahawk bout, on Thursday, February 16. Mt. Pulaski will attempt to upgrade on its 9-19 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 26-4 record after their 69-36 league win over Illini Central (Mason City, IL).
