Illinois High School Basketball - North Greene knocked off by Pawnee

The Pawnee Indians basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting North Greene Spartans to 41 in the Indians non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Indians now sport a 5-22 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calvary for a non-league contest on Friday, February 17. Pawnee will meet a Saints team coming off a 74-67 non-league win over Warrensburg-Latham (Warrensburg, IL). The Saints record now stands at 22-7.
The Spartans (7-21) will now prepare for their contest against Greenfield/Northwestern (Greenfield, IL). The Tigers enter the Western Illinois Valley contest with a 18-12 record. In their last contest, Greenfield/Northwestern was outscored by Lincolnwood (Raymond, IL), 48-38, in a non-league contest.
