Kentucky High School Basketball - St. Xavier thwarts Oldham County

The St. Xavier Tigers (Louisville, KY) basketball knocked off the host Oldham County Colonels (Buckner, KY), 64-54 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Tigers (15-8) will now prepare for their test against North Oldham (Goshen, KY). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 22-5 record. In their last test, North Oldham notched a victory over Collins (Shelbyville, KY), 51-39, in a non-league test.
The Colonels now own a 10-12 record. They play next when they travel to Great Crossing for a non-league test on Thursday, February 16. Oldham County will encounter a squad coming off a 80-69 non-league win over Madison Southern (Berea, KY). The record now stands at 24-5.
