Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Wheeling Park Patriots (Wheeling, WV) and the host Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV), saw Wheeling Park's basketball squad wallop Preston by a tally of 78-49.
With the victory, Wheeling Park improves its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Patriots host St. Clairsville (St. Clairsville, OH) to play the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 16. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 9-11. St. Clairsville lost 68-55 in their recent non-league challenge against University (Morgantown, WV)
Next up, the Knights play the Lincoln Cougars (Shinnston, WV) in a Big Ten challenge, on Friday, February 17. Preston will attempt to improve on its 1-19 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 7-12 record after their 40-34 league loss to Liberty (Clarksburg, WV).
