The Wethersfield Flying Geese (Kewanee, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] Spartans (Woodhull, IL), 70-49 in Tuesday's league test.
The Flying Geese (13-13) will now prepare for their test against Princeville (Princeville, IL). The Princes go into the Lincoln Trail test with a 16-12 record. In their last test, Princeville was trounced by Annawan (Annawan, IL), 60-53, in a league test.
The Spartans now own a 6-23 record. They play next when they host Biggsville West Central for a Lincoln Trail test on Friday, February 17.
