New Jersey High School Basketball - Roselle Catholic topples Union Catholic

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Roselle Catholic Lions (Roselle, NJ) basketball squad beat the host Union Catholic Vikings (Scotch Plains, NJ), by a count of 72-56.

The Lions (16-5) will now prepare for their outing against Linden (Linden, NJ). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 19-5 record. In their last outing, Linden defeated Elizabeth (Elizabeth, NJ), 68-54, in a league outing.

The Vikings now hold a 13-8 record. They play next when they travel to Chatham for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 16. Union Catholic will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 53-40 league loss to Delbarton (Morristown, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 16-4.
