Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Sayre Spartans (Lexington, KY) and the visiting Wolfe County Wolves (Campton, KY), saw Sayre's basketball squad knock off Wolfe County by a count of 66-58.

With the victory, Sayre upgrades its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Spartans host Berea (Berea, KY) to play the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 17. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 5-14. Berea lost 65-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Barbourville (Barbourville, KY)

Next up, the Wolves play the Lee Generals (Jonesville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 16. Wolfe County will attempt to upgrade on its 14-14 season record. The Generals come into the challenge with a 1-16 record after their 67-47 league loss to Ridgeview (Clintwood, VA).
